During my time at Revolut, I initially worked in the People Department before being headhunted to join the Retail Banking App team.
Problem
At Revolut, I started in the People Department, which aimed to transition from an internal tool to a commercialized HR SaaS product. The goal was to spread Revolut’s innovative approach to performance and organizational management, essentially operating as a startup within the larger Revolut ecosystem.
Solution
As a designer in this dynamic environment, I played a crucial role in refining the go-to-market design for the Revolut People tool. This involved making design adjustments that aligned with market demands and ensuring the product was ready for commercial launch. The project required balancing the fast-paced scaling environment with the need for high-performance efficiency.
Design
Leveraging the existing design principles and systems, I contributed to creating a user-friendly and scalable product. I focused on simplicity and intuitive user experiences, which were essential for a tool intended to manage complex HR processes. My work also included significant contributions to the design system, ensuring consistency across the platform.
Impact
My design efforts helped prepare the Revolut People tool for market entry, enabling the product to gain initial traction and position itself as a viable HR SaaS solution.
