# The Pioneer

> Turning journalism and events into products people join.

- **Client:** The Pioneer
- **Role:** Design partner
- **Timeframe:** 2019 – today
- **Impact:** 70k+ subscribers
- **Live:** [MY WAY](https://myway.thepioneer.de/), [The Pioneer Experience](https://experience.thepioneer.de/), [Deutschland wird gut. Wetten?](https://wetten.thepioneer.de/), [Pioneer Academy](https://thepioneer-academy.de/)

## Outcomes

- **15+** landing pages
- **sold out** MY WAY and bootcamps

## Context

The Pioneer needed websites and funnels for its journalism, podcasts, memberships and live events. Each offer had to be easy to understand while still feeling part of the same brand.

## What I did

Together with Jannis Wicke, I designed and refined more than 15 landing pages, marketing funnels and user flows. The work included podcast relaunches such as [Deutschland wird gut. Wetten?](https://wetten.thepioneer.de/), memberships, [The Pioneer Experience](https://experience.thepioneer.de/), the masterclasses of the [Pioneer Academy](https://thepioneer-academy.de/) and events such as [MY WAY](https://myway.thepioneer.de/).

## Key decisions

We created a page structure we could adapt for each launch. Clear editorial hierarchy helped people understand the offer, and motion supported the next step where it was useful.

## Outcome

The work supported new formats and a growing membership business with more than 70,000 subscribers. Events such as MY WAY attracted more than 1,700 attendees and sold out.
