From cancellation service to contract manager.

Smartkündigen was expanding from individual cancellations into contract management. People needed to keep track of contracts and subscriptions, find better options and cancel when necessary.

Together with Jannis Wicke, I designed the product and brand across the website and a new mobile app. The work covered contract tracking, recommendations, cancellations and upgrade paths.

We put the contract overview and the next action first. Small moments of motion gave the product character without getting in the way of tasks people wanted to finish quickly.

Smartkündigen processed more than 500,000 contract cancellations. The work extended the experience from one-off cancellations to contract management across web and app.
